Taco Tuesdays are in full swing with more than 80 dinners sold each week! If you have never been to this event, the club opens at 4 p.m., and you can enjoy an amazing Mexican buffet, thanks to Chef Georges Rapicault and the culinary team, from 5-8:30 p.m., for only $14 per person. Items include taquitos, quesadillas, a variety of taco fillings, chimichangas, salads, churros for dessert and much more. We have multiple tables available for our members. All members and guests are welcome to join us for dinner and the exciting raffle afterwards. The Columbia Room menu is not available on Tuesdays.
A new item for the kids, corn dogs, is now on the Columbia Room menu thanks to a suggestion from Chloe Curtin. Know that items on the various menus at the club have started as a suggestion made to the Food and Beverage Committee. A good example of this is the monthly Sandwich of the Month.
Sunday Night Suppers continue to be popular. Each week, Chef Georges creates two new dishes. These suppers are held in the fun and friendly ambiance of the specially decorated Lounge. An amazing value at $18++ per person, the four-course meal includes sourdough bread and butter, salad, soup, entrée and dessert. You are encouraged to make a reservation through the club office for this dining event. The Columbia Room menu is also available on Sunday night.
The wine and spirits list has been enhanced based on a suggestion to the Food and Beverage Committee from Mike Curtin. Included in this listing are most of the spirits and liqueurs carried in the BCYC Columbia Room bar. Now you can simply request something from the list rather than hoping you spot that special whiskey on the back bar.
Finally Friday Gourmet Burgers (FFGB) are available only in the Columbia Room every Friday night through Sept. 1. This is a fun concept where you build you own burger. Meat choices are beef, bison or chicken and there is a large array of sides and condiments to add to your burger. Ask for an order ticket and make your choices – be creative and try a different combination every Friday!
