Party and Decorate
Fall is here and you might think it’s time to relax with your pumpkin-spiced toddy, but the Activities Committee just won’t let you do that quite yet. Hot off the tails of the amazing Class of BCYC Lounge Night, co-chaired by Susan Barden and Lori Curtin, we have more in store for you.
Come pARGHty with the Pirates of BCYC Oct. 28. Put on your favorite pirate costume, eye patch or bandana – be ye live or be ye dead – and dance the night away. Chef Georges Rapicault and his culinary team will have a variety of heavy appetizARGHs for the evening. Be sure to bring along a few extra doubloons just in case ye get thrown in the brig.
We will celebrate the best and brightest of BCYC at the 59th annual Awards Night Nov. 18. This is always a spectacular night, so be sure to reserve your spot.
Right on the heels of Awards Night we will begin holiday decorating on Nov. 19. We need MANY elves to pull this off and especially strong “he-man” type elves in the morning to help get our beautiful trees in place. This is a great day to get involved, make the club beautiful for the holiday season and meet other members. I hope you all come by and give us a couple hours of your valuable time.
We always welcome fresh faces at our Activities Committee meetings. We meet the second Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. Come join the fun!
