Our goal for 2019 is to get more people involved in our committee, develop new friendships and have each event be a success. We still have a few events that we’re looking for someone to take the lead on. Please let us know if you’re interested, and we’ll support you every step of the way.

Super Bowl LIII dominated our January with Columbia Room gatherings to see who would make it to the big show – culminating in a super event on Super Bowl Sunday. Many thanks to everyone who helped make this happen – more than 15 volunteers stepped in and had fun!

We’re looking forward to the Valentine’s Day Signature Dinner, where Lori Curtin and Teri Leigh will provide décor. A fun and competitive St. Patrick’s Day event, coordinated by EB Barden and Teri Leigh, will be very cool – better start practicing so you’ll be ready to peel some potatoes! What will Chef Georges Rapicault do with all those spuds?

Save the date: April 12 marks our first Lounge Night of 2019. Boogie down with a disco theme. Some of us can relive the 70s or, for our younger members, put a modern take on disco. It will be fun for everyone! Thanks to Linda Ritchie for taking on another year of Lounge Nights.

Please join us for our monthly Activities Committee meeting, the second Wednesday of the month, at 7 p.m. We’ll see you there.

Activities – Mark Arizmendi, Susan Barden, Cleve Sproule
