2021 has been a year of uncertainty from beginning to the end. COVID-19 has controlled a lot of our social lives, including here at BCYC. We are fortunate to be able to return to the club and partake in many of the traditional celebrations that it offers. We have all enjoyed the food and beverage services provided at all these activities. No matter how big or small the event, Chef George Rapicault and his culinary team have always provided delicious food items and our service staff have been great given the challenges placed on them. The Food and Beverage Committee extends our gracious thanks to Chef Georges and his entire crew, Shawncy Little’s bar service team and to General Manager Scott Jones for working so hard throughout the year to provide BCYC members with options that please.
December still has several party options for club members. Santa’s Sunday Brunch, Dec. 12, offers so many delicious dishes for kids and adults to enjoy. And of course, Family Night during the Christmas Boat Parade is a great time to enjoy Chef’s special buffet and celebrate with family and friends. Then, to bring an end to 2021, join in the New Year’s Eve party and ring in 2022 in BCYC style.
The committee wishes each of you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a happy, fun-filled 2022. Stay safe and healthy.
