Things are looking better from the food and beverage aspect at BCYC. Members have continued to enjoy the delicious options prepared by Chef Georges Rapicault and his culinary team, both as takeout and dining on the patios. As control of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to improve, even more options will become available, BUT we must remember the restrictions still mandated by the health department – wear masks, socially distance and wash our hands. Chef’s taste test challenge for kids has been a big hit. The first test offerings were chicken fingers and corn dogs. When kids under 14 years of age fill out the taste test questionnaire, they eat for free!
As we are finally back to dining inside, remember that reservations will be required for all dining, and the Columbia Room will have a two-hour time limit on tables to allow more members to enjoy being out and socializing at the club. In addition, masks will be required upon entrance until you are seated, and social distancing will be enforced (please to not move the tables).
As a reminder,the menus are modified frequently. Many members have actually ordered catering-sized portions to enjoy at home. Advance notice for these larger orders is a must – contact Food and Beverage Manager Bruce Fottrell for details.
