2020 is here and we have an exciting year of cruises planned! First up on the schedule is the always-popular Desert Land Cruise, set for March 6-8. Reservations have already begun for our stay at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort and Spa. If you have not made your reservations, please book your room today directly through the resort by calling 800-843-6664. Our weekend in the desert will begin with a putting contest, followed by a cocktail party at Chuck Wert’s home on Friday, March 6. Those interested in golfing can sign up for nine holes, which will be played at Chaparral Country Club golf course Saturday morning. We have reserved cabanas in the pool area on Saturday for anyone who wants to relax by the pool or surf the lazy river. Oh, and for the young at heart, there is always the water slide for fun. Saturday evening, we will enjoy a barbecue dinner at Chaparral Country Club. This is always a popular cruise, so make your plans today to join us.

May 29-31, we will be cruising to Dana Point. Note the dates for this cruise as listed in the annual calendar has changed. This will be a wonderful weekend. Reserve your guest slip now as these slips will sell out – they are on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve your slip today by going to dockwa.com; enter The Marina at Dana Point, go to reservations and enter your boat information. Make sure to identify yourself as coming from BCYC (in the comment section) so that we will all be grouped together. More details will be coming regarding this cruise.

We have a new land cruise planned for this year (it’s a surprise), so watch for information and sign-up details. 2020 will be a great cruising year!

We would love any input you may have in helping plan a cruise, or if you have any suggestions for cruises, please join us to share your ideas on the first Wednesday of every month during the Cruise Committee meeting at 7:30 p.m. See you there.
