As you begin the month of May, here are a few thoughts to consider: enjoy life…give back…be safe!
Enjoy Life – One way to enjoy life is to sail in BCYC’s Taco Tuesday evening race series, which run thru August 25. Taco Tuesdays, featuring multiple weeks of racing, eating, drinking and partying all rolled into one, is now scheduled to begin June 2.
Give Back – We are planning to run all of our Leukemia Cup Regattas for Harbor 20s, PHRF and Farr 40s August 7-9. This is a date change for only the Harbor 20s – they were originally scheduled to race May 31. BCYC has raised over $1 million to support research into finding a cure for leukemia and lymphoma. Race entry fees, individual donations and team donations all add up…so be generous…give back!
Be Safe – Whether the stay-at-home order is still in force or we have returned to the water, it’s still a good idea to listen to Mom – eat chicken noodle soup, wash your hands frequently and get plenty of rest, even if you are tired of resting.

Playing Catch Up – We are planning to run the postponed Angelman Series #3 on June 13. The Weiss Series #2 and #3 will be run on June 14 and 21 respectively. Where should you look to confirm dates? The BCYC Racing 2020 race calendar on the club website, of course.
